    Last week, calfordseaden hosted our Retrofit Breakfast Seminar in collaboration with Ksquared.

    The successful event featured delicious food and an insightful presentation on topics such as Net Zero Carbon Agenda, PAS 2035, and Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 2.1. The presentation was followed by an informative Q&A session where guests could interact with our esteemed presenters.

    Many homes in London can't withstand our changing climate, so how can we design climate resilience into new and existing homes? 

    At our conference session on designing homes and buildings, Becci Taylor of Arup introduced the topic by highlighting the need for a culture change in the sector to focus on resilience. This needs to be connected to decarbonisation and ensuing building safety, she added.
